Consultant of internal medicine services are involved in pre operative checks in addition to anesthetists assesment to manage & pickup existing medical problem prior to surgical procedures as well as to take appropriate measures prior to surgeries .
In some cases, consultant are required to manage co-morbid medical problem with surgical conditions pre operatively,post operatively and during intraoperative period
superspecialists are also called in whenever required
