The orthopaedic department provides a twenty four hour trauma service managed by team of trained professionals.
It is headed by Dr Vishnu Madhav( MS, DNB) an alumnus of Sion Hospital with more than 22 years experience. This department also treats fractures and sport injuries backed by trained nursing staff, round the clock investigative facilities like the pathology lab and radiology dept and blood storage centre.
It has a state of the art Operation Theatre with laminar airflow, centralised oxygen and C-arm ( image intensifier) Joint replacement surgeries and arthroscopy are handled by specialists with expertise in these fields.
Spine and arthritic disorders are treated routinely aided by the availability of CT scan and pathology dept.
Rehabilitation of patients is accelerated with a fully equipped physiotherapy department under the guidance of experienced physiotherapist
